Along with the Residential Leadership team, you will focus on facilitating and implementing a national training programme within one of our Care and Protection Residences to ensure the kaimahi (workforce) working with traumatised children receive consistent and high-quality training, allowing them to continue to develop essential skills and knowledge to provide the best care possible.

As part of the Residential Leadership Team, you will facilitate and implement practice development initiatives for staff working within our residences and homes.
You will be managing delivery against a National Training Calendar and individual learning plans, preparing accordingly for the facilitation of training programmes while ensuring you are achieving all objectives, and evaluating and reporting on training outcomes that have been implemented.
With your training and facilitation skills, you will ensure a high quality of care for tamariki and their whanau.

Oranga Tamariki offer an impartial remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
Annual remuneration for this position starts between $71,616.60 and $79,574.00 dependant on experience, with tenure based progression steps available above this range.
