ROLE: Residential Framer Foreman/woman

LOCATION: Edmonton & surrounding

SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 44 Hour work week, year round

WAGE: $32 - $35/ hour based on experience + car allowance

Maxsys Staffing & Consulting is currently looking for a Site Supervisor/Team Leader to run a framing crew for consistent year-round work on quality Residential home builds. If you have the experience and drive to work for a Professional Construction Company, then this is the position for you.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Vast Experience in building & framing Residential, Single family and Multi story homes
• Knowledge and understanding of Alberta’s framing Regulations & Building Code
• Understand procedures in each stage of framing/building a house, can read and determine blueprints and be left unsupervised leading a framing crew to build homes.
• Proficient at leading & driving a framing crew to generate productive work in a timely manner and high standard.
• Ensure Company Safety Policies are followed to specific work being performed daily
• Framing single and multi-story homes from start to finish. (Floors, walls & roof systems)
• Ability to work in all-weather conditions
• Communicate with Construction Manager on a weekly basis
• Personality to be able to teach, coach and manage staff on site.
• Has a work Pick-up to be able to tow work trailer

Qualifications & Assets

• Experienced in using power-tools and machinery related to the job (eg. Telehandler)
• Ability read and Interpret blueprints
• Has experience to frame/build homes unsupervised and lead a team efficiently
• Certifications are considered an asset: Fall protection, Standard first aid, Real Seal Qualification
• Can provide evidence of recent work
• Own tools considered an asset (Company will supply tools also)
• High level communication skills required
• Experience minimum 10 years in construction/framing (not necessary)

Compensation

• Competitive compensation depending on experience
• 44-hour work week, Monday to Friday
• Consistent year-round work
• Equipment Trailer supplied
• Materials + Hardware supplied

• Red Seal (asset)
