Sydney Metro is Australia's biggest public transport project and first fully-automated metro rail network, connecting customers and transforming the way Sydney travels. Our new generation of driverless trains are fast, safe and reliable, and link with Sydney's existing public transport network to provide seamless journeys. About the team

The People and Culture team, within Corporate Services partners with the business and leads the design, development and implementation of strategies, reforms and plans that will attract, engage, and develop the workforce and build upon a high-performing culture.

 

The team manages workforce solutions including workforce planning and mobility, organisational design, talent management, people engagement (induction, learning and development, inclusion and diversity and culture), employee and industrial relations, industry participation and workplaces (accommodation and business services).

 

Further the management of these services are effectively linked to overarching Sydney Metro strategic objectives, as well as broader Transport for NSW’s people strategies and guidelines.

 

Together, with the business, we continue to build on Sydney Metro’s culture which places the customer at the centre, people at the heart, and works together for the greater good.

 

 

The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Reporting & Analytics Manager to come join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development and delivery of accurate and timely data insights and analytics for the People & Culture team, to inform evidence-based decision making across the business (Sydney Metro). You will also lead the development of performance and monitoring measures against deliverables, identifying business risks and overseeing the production of fit for purpose reports, dashboards and analytical tools.

About you

Ideally, you’ll have:

extensive knowledge and experience in end-to-end workforce data analytics, insights and reporting, aligned to business performance measures in a complex and diverse delivery environment

strong analytical skills, with the ability to extract and evaluate complex data sets using multiple sources, proactively examine how to leverage trends and draw logical conclusions to generate insights that support informed decision making by the business

great project management skills

demonstrated ability to strategically engage and negotiate with, and influence stakeholders across various levels

ability to problem solve, break down complex issues and develop solutions based on findings in the data

experience and expertise in using, extracting, analysing, manipulating and presenting data from applications such as SAP, Equip, SuccessFactors, FieldGlass, PARIS, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or similar

competence in developing dashboards, reports and presentations for a diverse range of audiences

a strong attention to detail and are capable of delivery a high level of accuracy

excellent organisational skills including the ability to work flexibly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities; and

tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, and/or equivalent experience.

 

 

Salary and Benefits

This is a Grade 9 role offering an attractive remuneration package; salary range between $138,670 – $155,309 plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
