Job Description

About us

Sydney Metro is Australia's biggest public transport project and first fully-automated metro rail network, connecting customers and transforming the way Sydney travels. Our new generation of driverless trains are fast, safe and reliable, and link with Sydney's existing public transport network to provide seamless journeys. Our 46 state of the art, fully accessible metro stations and precincts are designed to meet the evolving needs of our customers and communities.

With the Northwest line already in operation and works well underway on the City & Southwest, West and Western Sydney Airport lines, Sydney will enjoy a fully operational Metro network by 2030.

About the team

The Operations, Customer and Place-making team ensures Sydney Metro is equipped to deliver integrated, reliable, customer focused and efficient services. We are also managing large scale place-making projects, designing and developing thriving precincts where community members can gather, connect, shop, work and play. We are proud of what we have achieved so far and excited for the full vision of Sydney Metro to come to life.

The opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Reporting Analyst specialising in Cyber Security to join the Enterprise Security Division at Sydney Metro. This position conducts detailed analysis, advisory, evidence collection and reporting and implementing activities to deliver dashboards and briefing notes as required.  This works to continuously improve cyber defence, risk and resilience services across the organisation and meet the requirements as dictated by Transport for NSW Cyber Defence, the NSW Cyber Security Policy and the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act reforms.

This role will see you gathering evidence from our operating partners and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with requirements, while working to meeting tight deadlines and drive dashboard type reporting across the Cyber Security Governance and Assurance team.

About you

Alongside holding relevant tertiary qualifications, you will have strong data analysis, communication, problem solving, analysis and report writing skills, as well as a strong understanding of Cyber Security Reporting requirements. You have previous experience in dashboard development, as well as the ability to manage time and meet deadlines while balancing competing priorities.

This role would be perfect for someone looking to build on their cyber security governance experience and work towards developing a new way of reporting in a holistic reporting structure at Sydney Metro

Salary and Benefits

This is a Transport Services Grade 8 position ($120,423 to $134,872 per year, plus superannuation and annual leave loading).
