About Network Homes
We are a charitable housing association driven by social objectives to make a positive impact on the places we work in, for the long-term. We have an ambition to build a thousand new homes a year, deliver first class customer service and strengthen our residents trust in us as a landlord.
We own and manage over 20,000 homes across London, Hertfordshire and the South East and are a sector leader amongst the G15 group of London’s largest housing associations. We fundamentally believe in the importance to everyone of a safe, secure, and decent home.
We foster a positive working culture because we’re passionate about our people. Recognised as a Sunday Times 100 Employer in 2019 we have outstanding levels of engagement amongst our people. And we’re focused on becoming even smarter, better, faster, and stronger with our digital transformation programme as we look forward to our recent move into our brand new, modern, stylish offices which we moved into in July 2020.
Network Homes is firmly committed to making sure that our organisation and the communities in which we work are safe places for people to be who they are and live the way they choose. The commitment was recognised at the Housing Heroes awards 2019 where our Equality and Diversity Engagement Group picked up a key award and is demonstrated by us being founding partners for Leadership 2025, the initiative to increase the ethnic diversity of housing’s leadership, and Pledge Pioneers for House Proud, a scheme designed to ensure Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer residents can enjoy their homes without fear of discrimination.
About the role

Are you searching for a role where you can add real value?
Look no further, we have a great opportunity for you!
We are currently recruiting for a Repairs Administrator on a 12 Months FTC/Secondment. You will be assisting in supporting the management of budgets and pressure on the contractors by reducing emergencies, complaints, and escalations by providing us with front line assistance.
You will assist us with ensuring all repair escalations are managed and responded to in time and managing works and contractors to ensure resolutions are reached. You will use customer satisfaction feedback to promote change, escalating negative and positive responses to our contractors so we are able to monitor continuous improvement.
You will be assisting our technical repairs surveyors to manage cases and repairs to completion whilst monitoring our contractor performance to ensure they are delivering value for money whilst adhering to our measures. Other administrative duties will include all invoices being processed in time, spot checking repairs when invoicing to ensure they are financially managed correctly.
We are looking for someone with a high attention to detail with experience in a customer facing role. You would need to be confident in communicating both written and verbally.
At times you would need to be comfortable in having difficult conversations with residents when it comes to escalations and reaffirming the business processes/rules, i.e., there may be times that we would need to communicate that we are not able to meet the residents expectations.
You should also be competent in time management, often there are high demands from several different channels and so knowing how to prioritise effectively is a must. MS office essential (outlook word and excel) and Northgate & CRM is a bonus.
If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you!
