To ensure a quality service provision, all HCA Remote Area Nurses must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 2+ years proven recent experience  
• Registered Nurse with at least 4 years Post-Graduate experience
• WWCC or willing to obtain
• MEC / REC / ALS/ PHARMACO/ IMMUNISATION (SA) Certificates
• Availability for placement for a minimum of 6 weeks, and up to 16 weeks
• Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration & National Police Clearance
• Full unrestricted manual drivers license – MUST be competent in driving a 4WD
• Must be able to Cannulate and perform Venepuncture 
• Be culturally appropriate and sensitive always
