We are looking for Relief Support Workers to join our busy service. 

Lincoln Court Lifehouse provides 11 units of supported accommodation for single females aged 18+ who are experiencing homelessness and is part of our well-established supported accommodation programme in Sheffield.

In the role of Relief Support Worker, you are key to achieving successful outcomes for clients. You will be a motivated and dynamic Support Worker and be responsible for delivering our high-quality programme of support that promotes client choice and control. As someone able to work independently and as part of team you will address client’s support needs, enabling them to make positive life choices and feel empowered to lead more sustainable lifestyles.

As our successful candidate you will be able to demonstrate:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a related field or be willing to work towards
• Experience of working with vulnerable and high complex needs clients who may display challenging behaviour
• Knowledge of the benefits system and an understanding of supporting housing funding streams and reporting requirements
• Knowledge of the legislation relating to Health and Safety and safeguarding of clients and staff
• Understanding a personal value base which is in line with the core values of Salvation Army.
