We are currently recruiting for a relief security officer in Erith. This is a customer-facing role for a prestigious client in a dynamic corporate environment where you will be responsible for protecting both the staff working on the premises, as well as the customers entering the buildings.  Our work has never been more vital and we need you to help make it happen. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you will be a friendly face who enjoys helping the public and being on your feet all day.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a presence.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance of vehicles or people on the property.
• Secure all exits, doors, and windows after the end of business hours.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Provide assistance to people in need.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.

Requirements and skills

• SIA license (DS or SG)
• Proven experience as a security officer.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Tech-savvy with basic computer systems
• Trained in First Aid (not essential, but desirable)

Hours/Shifts

• Days, nights, and weekends
• Relief – No fixed hours
