We are looking for a Relief Night Concierge for a residential setting in Swindon.  The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy residential environment and be able to work as part of a team to a high standard. 

The successful candidate should be willing to support and uphold the aims & objectives of The Salvation Army.

Booth House is a 50 bed Lifehouse accommodating men and women experiencing homelessness.   The waking role includes maintaining the safety and security of the clients and the building overnight, accurately recording interactions and incidents with clients, communicating effectively with staff, reception duties, some housekeeping duties, maintaining fire logs and responding to fire alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

This role is vital to the safety and security of clients and the building, answering to the Facilities and Administration Coordinator and the Service Manager.

The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate: 

• Good knowledge of Health and Safety,
• Experience of working in a similar environment
• Sympathy with the needs of those experiencing homelessness and the mission of The Salvation Army.
• An enthusiastic outlook and behaviour
• Excellent communication and organisational skills to oversee the safety and security of clients and the building.
