We are now at a stage in our journey to welcome an additional Regulatory Delivery Advisor into each of our four regional locations.

As a Regulatory Delivery Advisor, you will be working hands-on to deliver the regulatory functions and duties of Taumata Arowai. This will include:

  • Working with suppliers to manage and resolve any non-compliance with drinking water standards or guidance.
  • Working with stakeholders to share information and build knowledge surround safe drinking water practices.
  • Developing positive and proactive working relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitoring and undertaking audits and investigations of drinking water suppliers.

As we are still growing and evolving, innovation and creativity are key drivers in the way we must work – our size requires us to be smart and agile therefore new recruits to our whānau must possess these qualities.

Ko koe tÄ“nei | About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a demonstrated commitment to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi and works towards building their own capability in te Ao Māori.
  • Possesses sound judgement and analytical skills, with particular emphasis on application in a regulatory environment.
  • Is confident building stakeholder relationships and has the ability to remain focused and calm under pressure.
  • Is comfortable engaging with stakeholders, from a range of backgrounds to provide education and information at the frontline.
  • Has experience working within a regulatory, compliance or audit environment and experience working with others to undertake investigations.
  • A good understanding of the New Zealand drinking water system is preferable, however we are open to applications from other complimentary backgrounds.
  • Holds a full clean Driver's License.

With Senior and Team Leader positions at each of our locations, there will be career progression opportunities for motivated and driven individuals. We offer flexible working arrangements and a commitment to your continuous professional development.
