Our Regulatory Coordinator is a key part of the Regulatory function whose role is to hold a deep understanding of the Taumata Arowai Regulatory Delivery systems and processes in order to best support the Regulatory Delivery team with their programme of work.

This is a brand-new role as we are in the process of designing our regulatory function. You will need to maintain broad-based involvement across all the activities of the Regulatory Delivery Team whilst also coordinating and participating in functions associated with the role of Taumata Arowai as the drinking water regulator for Aotearoa.

The role will also be key in supporting the implementation and ongoing continuous improvement of our Regulatory and Intelligence technology platform, supporting the team to ensure that processes are robust and data integrity is maintained.

We are looking for someone who :

• Can coordinate with and provide assistance to the Head of Regulatory and the Regulatory Delivery Manager to initiate, develop and implement projects intended to improve efficiency and implement best practice within the Regulatory Delivery Team
• Can support work to undertake a continuous improvement approach to both the regulatory system and its processes and procedures
• Can maintain oversight of the individual artefacts used within the regulatory system to ensure they are reviewed as fit for purpose and aligned to the intended application of the system
• Has prior experience working in a regulatory regime
• Coach and mentor others in the organisation on the application of regulatory policies and processes
