The Office of the Registrar supports and celebrates student success. We provide students and the campus community with support through the distribution of key information, high-quality service delivery and the maintenance of essential systems and processes. Our dedicated staff work in a myriad of areas including Student Recruitment, Admissions, Academic Records, Convocation, Customer Service, Fees, Financial Aid, Registration & Course Scheduling, Reporting, Student Systems, and Transfer Services at both our North and Lakeshore campuses. Job Details:
Position Title: Registration & Records Representative, RPT (North & Lakeshore)
Status: Regular Part Time
Hours: 24 hours per week to be scheduled anytime between Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Will be required to work additional hours during peak periods.
Faculty/Department: Office the Registrar
Campus/Location: North Campus and Lakeshore Campus
Salary: Pay Band 5 (Min) $16.44
What you will do:
Under the direction of the Manager, Student Records, the Registration & Records Representative has a passion for helping students and a keen eye for detail when completing records-related tasks such as: monitoring shared email inboxes and responding to inquiries from students and staff, printing and mailing transcripts, processing education verification forms, verifying student records, and document maintenance. The incumbent will be working in a fast-paced environment, managing a high volume of enquiries and competing tasks while ensuring accuracy and thorough completion of duties. The Registration & Records Representative may deal with sensitive and highly confidential academic information.
What you bring to the role:
Education: The incumbent will possess a 2-year post-secondary diploma or equivalent.
Experience: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-years professional work experience in customer service or equivalent.
Skills:
Exceptional attention to detail and thorough analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities
Great critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work well within a team or independently with minimal supervision
Successful Applicants:
Must have access to a reliable internet connection.
Must have a suitable and private work space to take calls from home/remotely.
Comfortable with on-site/on-campus work (e.g. printing offers of admission, receiving incoming mails/transcripts, etc.)
Should be comfortable working from home/remotely and on-site as we are utilizing a hybrid approach at this point in time. There could be changes to this approach pending direction from government officials and public health.
