The Role

We are currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, growing team. Ideally this will be a full-time role, however we will consider applications from part-time applicants. 
The role would involve all veterinary nursing duties including in-patient care, anaesthetics, nurse clinics, client care, reception cover and helping to develop our growing team within the practice. 

CPD is funded and actively encouraged.

About Us

Animals 1st is a Small Animal veterinary practice based in East Lothian, with our main surgery in Macmerry and branch surgery 
in Haddington. We have a range of in-house equipment and welcome visiting specialists to the practice which allows us to provide onsite services.

Our growing team consists of 5 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 ACAs, 3 receptionists and a practice manager, who work well together to provide an outstanding level of customer service and patient care. We are a friendly outgoing team, where teamwork is important to us, no matter what your role! We enjoy social nights both in the practice and out when we can.

Applicant Requirements 

Our ideal candidate will be a RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse with experience in practice and a team player with good work ethic. We would also be able to consider a newly qualified nurse, confident with anaesthetics, who would like to gain further experience in a friendly and supportive environment.
