About the Role
Glen Innes District Hospital has an exciting opportunity for multiple Registered Nurses to join their dedicated team and provide safe compassionate person centred care within the facility ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. As a Registered Nurse you will working with a team of RN’s, EEN and AINS to provide a high level of care to the inpatients of Glen Innes health service. You will be supported by the clinical nurse educator with ongoing support and education
Where you'll be working
You will be working as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team at Glen Innes Health Service which consist of 27 acute inpatient unit and 4 bed Emergency department, Maternity unit and Day surgery unit. You will be working along side multiple Allied health and visiting medical services to provide safe patient centred care. Rural Nurses think critically and utilise sound decision making skills. A period of time in a rural hospital will broaden your clinical exposure while using all of your knowledge, skills and experience.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW. Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Please provide proof of booster vaccination if available.
