About the Role
This excellent role will see you provide safe compassionate person centred care within the Cardiac Catheterisation and Electrophysiology Laboratory in the Interventional Suite at John Hunter Hospital. You will be ensuring safe care is delivered in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes. In the role our successful candidate will be supported by Nursing Unit Manager and Clinical Nursing Staff.

Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital, teaching hospital and community hospital featuring fifteen operating theatres, 550 adult beds and 101 paediatric beds. With the busiest Emergency Department in the state, major trauma centre for Northern NSW and delivering services to people of all ages from birth, to childhood and adulthood, it is a great place to develop or start your career.
About You
The Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses who apply for this role must be experienced in the role of scrub and scout and it would also be advantageous to have some monitoring skills. You will have strong time management skills and excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver effective service delivery. You be a motivated team player with experience in a Cardiac Catheter Laboratory unit and the ability to fulfil On Call duties.
