The details: Permanent – 80 hours per fortnight

The Hauraki Mental Health Service and equity partner Te Korowai Hauora o Hauraki are undertaking a significant transformation to integrate mental health and wellbeing care for all whānau in Hauraki.

About the service:

Together the services will work collaboratively to deliver mental health and wellbeing care in the Thames-Coromandel region to improve outcomes for Māori and wellbeing for all whānau. In addition, the service transformation will provide whānau choice in the services they access, in the right place at the right time and by the right provider.

As an integrated service we cover the continuum of care from primary-level community healthcare to advanced, highly specialised, secondary care, including Infant Child and Adolescent, Adult Mental Health, Addictions Services from several locations as well as our new Piri ki te Kainga: Step-Up Step-Down service based in Thames Hospital.

We now have new roles for a Registered Nurse, Social Worker and Occupational Therapist to work in our new Step-Up Step-Down sub-acute and across our community mental health team.
