About the role

We are looking for a Registered Nurses to work with other health professionals to actively contribute rehabilitation of prisoners, reducing reoffending and maintaining public safety. This role offers specialised care to assist prisoners, some with mental illnesses. This is achieved by forming and maintaining constructive relationships with patients, staff, and external agencies.

About You

• You are a NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
• You have more than 2 years clinical experience in primary health or acute setting
• Understanding of common mental health concerns for patients
• Understanding of Treaty of Waitangi and its principles
