Yorke and Northern Local Health Network have a permanent part time position for Registered Nurse wishing to work within the Operating Theatre at Clare Hospital.
Surgical specialities are offered between Monday and Friday by local and visiting medical specialists and include general surgery, orthopaedic, gastroenterology, obstetric, urology, gynaecology, dental, ophthalmology, plastics and ear nose throat services. Yorke and Northern LHN surgical services are also supported with a 24-hour, 7-day week on-call service. Applicants to these positions will be required to participate in an on-call roster system to support these services.
Opportunities are also available for Registered Nurses employed in this role to expand and consolidate on additional skills within additional services at each hospital if desired.

This is a part time vacancy, working 56 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, with experience in the perioperative/ acute care environment.
Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Screening/Check and specific immunisation requirements. COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in SA Health/health care setting.
