About the position:

The successful applicants will be required to provide safe, compassionate, and person centred care within the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Unit, ensuring care is delivered in collaboration with patients, families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

The successful applicants will play an integral role in the multi-disciplinary team and will supported by the Clinical Nurse Educator, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Clinical Nurse Consultant and will report directly to the Nursing Unit Manager of their allocated unit.

About You:

The successful applicants are required to have the ability to empathise with people, have a good understanding of the theories of mental health nursing and be compassionate, resilient and emotionally strong.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. Applicants are required to provide a record of their COVID-19 vaccination status as part of their application.

This position is full time however, part time arrangements may also be considered.

An eligibiity list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
