The Kyogle MPS is pursuing a Registered Nurse to join the team to coordinate and deliver high quality person centred nursing care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Standards for Practice for Registered Nurses, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
The Multi-Purpose Service model (MPS) exists in smaller communities and is aimed at integrating a range of health services including acute care, subacute care (including respite and palliative care), emergency, allied health, primary health and community health services under one management structure.
If you have/are:
Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse (Division 1). First Line Emergency Care Course (FLECC) accreditation or equivalent qualification or willingness to obtain within 12 months of employment
Recent experience as a ‘Hospital/Ward in Charge' or similar leadership role
Clinical experience in an acute health care setting and understanding of the aged care setting
Ability to use problem solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in the planning, delivery and coordination of patient care
