MIDCENTRAL DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD  

(Scope of Practice - Registered Nurse)  

Te Uru Rauhi, Mental Health and Addiction Services at MidCentral DHB have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse.  Based in the Manawatu locality this 0.5FTE position will provide some services across the rohe.  

The Early Intervention in Psychosis Service provides assessment and treatment within a recovery framework to young people experiencing first-episode-psychosis.  The service is delivered in line with national and international best practice principles.  

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a level of knowledge and skill in the management of young people who present with co-existing mental health and substance use disorders.  The role will also include the capacity to be part of a new model of care Te Mātāpuna o te Ora which focuses on an integrated treatment approach for those who would benefit from mental health and addiction services.
