Job Description

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Regional Sales Team. This is a role cultivating large regional accounts to promote installation projects of our best-in-class fire and security systems.

 

As Regional Account Manager you will focus on technical sales of electronic fire and security solutions across a defined geography by crafting and sustaining relationships within the JCI regional accounts channel. There will be an emphasis of account management as well as new business development and responsibility for handling the full sales cycle and company relationship as well as building surveys and system design. 

 

How you will do it

 

To be successful as a Regional Account Manager you will identify the best accounts to target for growth as well as having the opportunity to self-generate your own leads through careful planning & business development activity. You will build opportunities to bid on projects and present technical information to board level. You will handle leads and drive sales performance using Salesforce. 

 

We have engineering and proposal teams available to support the design and bid process for large installation projects. 
 

What we look for

 

Required

  • Experience of business to business technical solution sales.
  • Ability to function independently.
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills; ability to engage operational departments to ensure high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to develop and expand relationships through an organisation
  • Ability to build sales plans and bring teams together for mutual success.
  • Full UK driving license.

Preferred

  • Experience/knowledge of survey and design of fire and/or security systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate adding value in the sales process.
  • Knowledge/experience using CRMs, in particular Salesforce.com
