Job Description
As Recruitment Specialist you will be responsible for creating and delivering a talent acquisition strategy in line with UK Group Strategy and local business entity. You will manage effective and efficient co-ordination, monitoring and controlling of all recruitment processes in line with the business talent acquisition strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- To provide a timely and well organised process driven service, ensuring all positions are filled in time, with suitable candidates
- Focusing on excellent customer service, a key element of your role will be to give both candidates and hiring managers a great experience throughout the recruitment process
- To support the effective and efficient running of the Recruitment function by delivering processes that are automated, streamlined and fit for purpose
- You will co-ordinate, monitor and control all recruitment processes in line with the business recruitment roadmap. In line with this you will communicate regularly with your stakeholders and will be required to give updates on your progress
- You will utilise talent acquisition systems to manage talent acquisition processes efficiently and effectively and to improve connectivity to support a great candidate and hiring manager experience
- You will deliver against SLA’s and KPI’s and relevant targets at local business and Group level. This will include ensuring the provision of analytics and reporting which support proactive management of service delivery and budget management
- Enabling the business and driving it forward you will create and deliver a recruitment roadmap in line with UK Group strategy and support the Group with ensuring a holistic recruitment delivery
- You will support and guide third party providers in the provision of service i.e. Master Vendor, PSL providers
- This role will be expected to cover all recruitment activity including supporting with students, graduates and apprentices
Qualifications
- A degree, or equivalent, preferably in a Human Resources / Business Management discipline
- Knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques, processes and procedures
- Internal recruitment experience is desirable
- Line Management experience is essential
- Proven project management, budget management and organisational skills
- SLA/KPI target driven
- A qualification in personality and ability online assessment is desirable (preferably SHL)
- Understanding of MS Office, IT systems and ATS (Applicant Tracking System) such as Oracle Taleo is desirable
- A strong BMW UK HR network, with good knowledge of the BMW & MINI brands
- Knowledge of employment law
- Experience of working both cross-functionally and/or internationally
- Strong analytical skills
