Opportunity to join a community focussed organisation in Greenlane to lead asuccessful team of two Recruitment Consultants to increase the efficiency of the recruitment process for internal customers across the business, and increase the number of suitable candidates attracted to roles.
The Recruitment Lead is also a practitioner and will be expected to hold a ‘case load’ by providing recruitment services for partnered areas.
In relation to their accountabilities, the Recruitment Lead will work closely with the General Manager People & Culture to agree team member roles, operational priorities and ensure alignment with the strategic direction. The Lead will also direct, support, coordinate and oversee the work of their direct reports, who are their close partners in achieving the organisation’s Mission and Values.
Key Responsibilities:
*General recruitment services for partnered areas
• Develop/update position descriptions
• Design and place advertisements for paid staff and/or volunteers with suitable advertising media, including print and internet
• Screen initial applications and arrange interviews for shortlisted applicants
• Assist with interviewsand selections assessments
• Complete reference checks
• Manage vacancy and applicant databases
• Administer advertising, recruitment and application
documentation
• Collect, analyse and report on recruitment data
• Prepare employment agreements and conduct sign- ons / orientations with new staff as may be required
• Maintain and update employee and volunteer information
• Review and assess temporary staffing needs
What we are looking for:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a recruitment role, including experience with managing a high volume of vacancies.
• A minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience.
• Current working knowledge of NZ employment law
• Demonstrated experience with utilising a range of methods to attract and recruit candidates, including non-traditional approaches such as social media and direct marketing and promotions
