About the Team
Within the Corporate Services branch of TfNSW is the Transport Shared Services (TSS) responsible to provide business support to more than 26000 customers. Your new team under this role is within the Recovery at Work Team who are responsible for providing best practice injury management services in line with SIRA requirements.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery At Work Advisor to join our Injury & Claims Management team on a permanent full-time basis based in Burwood - Flexibility and working from home arrangements available due to the current environment.
Reporting into the Recovery At Work Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing best practice and comprehensive case management using evidence based strategies to drive successful recovery at work outcomes. You will provide sound recovery at work advice and case management involving early intervention, workplace assessment, occupational rehabilitation and recovery at work programs for complex or significant cases.
You will maintain effective relationship with key stakeholders to implement strategies and work collaboratively towards achieving optimal outcomes to minimize costs and premiums. You’ll achieve this by maintaining a high standard of customer service with our internal and external key stakeholders and, work cooperatively within a team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will hold Recovery at Work Coordinator Accreditation in accordance with SIRA requirements along with sound knowledge and experience of NSW Workers Compensation legislation.
You will be an accredited Allied Health Professional with a background in occupational rehabilitation. You thrive in a collaborative, complex and constantly changing environment, demonstrating the flexibility and resilience to quickly update your approach and evolve within. Your strong stakeholder and communication skills are also highly regarded as you will be required to partner with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure best outcomes are reached.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Grade 6 plus superannuation and leave loading.
