What you will be doing:
- Acting as an initial point of contact for visitors to site based at the reception
- General enquiries and administration including answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries in an appropriate and timely way and light administration duties in UHI’s student management system
- Monitoring access to the premises and visitors
- Support the accommodation team with room allocations, including assisting in assigning rooms and potential room swaps
- Reporting incidents and anti-social behaviour to the relevant authorities
- Recording information accurately and effectively.
- Provide front line resolution to student concerns and queries
- Implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective service delivery
- Ensuring culture and diversity issues for the clients are considered at all times, and reporting any forms of discrimination
What do we need from you?
- Excellent communication & customer service skills
- Flexible in duties undertaken
- Professional in approach, with a balanced sense of judgement, and a keen eye for detail
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
- A full five-year checkable employment history
- Own transport preferred
