He angitutanga: About the Role
As a Ranger you will be a part of our close-knit, Heritage and Visitors team doing some fabulous mahi to preserve our fantastic country. The team manage 56 huts, hundreds of kilometers of tracks and numerous assets within the Manawatu District and Ruahine Forest Park.
You will be based in the Heritage and Visitor team however as a generalist ranger, you have the advantage of contributing to multiple areas of work programmes where no two days are the same. One day you can be cutting and clearing tracks and the next you could be carrying out work in Animal pest control with our Biodiversity team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join and be part of a motivated team working towards our joint Kaupapa, Papatuanuku Thrives.

Children's Worker Safety Check

The salary range for this position is $47,320 up to $59,978 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
