Job Description:

Since its inception in 2012, Datum Projects have striven to not only satisfy our clients’ needs, but to exceed them. This is primarily achieved through the proactive management of time, cost, and quality of each individual project irrespective of its type, size, or location. This is an exciting time and we are currently looking for a QS/ Estimator that specialises in Office, Hotel, Joinery and Retail Fit-out. Our business is growing, and we are actively looking to continue our growth, and as a result, have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join our team. 

The role will consist of, but not be limited to the following:

• Estimation of projects.
• Evaluation and negotiation of subcontract tender qualifications.
• Management of project variations. 
• Processing subcontractor payment claims.
• Issuing client payment claims.
• Contract administration work. 
• Management of all project costs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the construction industry, design and construction practices.

To be successful in this role, you will offer the following:

• Previous experience with estimating/Quantity Surveying (preferably within Office or Retail projects).
• Experience with cabinetry .
• 2-3 years experience.
• Relevant qualification preferred (but not required
