About the team

 

The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering a once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.

 

 

The opportunity

 

You will provide specialist systems support, assessment, and advice on the Infrastructure and Place

management systems across Technical Services. The role assists with subject matter advice on the quality management system artefacts across various discipline, functional and geographical areas to improve the quality and performance continuous improvement of TfNSW projects.

 

Key accountabilities include –

 

Provide system and technical support to the technical management systems and Technical Services staff.

Assist to develop and implement Engineering & Technical management system content.

Maintain and contribute to the Engineering and Technical aspects of the Infrastructure and Place management system including documentation, monitoring, and communication.

Provide subject matter expert advice on opportunities to consolidate system artefacts across the business to drive consistency of system application and share learnings across Technical Services.

Support the disciplines compliance with Infrastructure and place management system requirements by: coordinating the preparation, monitoring, and reviewing of discipline quality plans; supporting internal and external audits of systems to ensure continued compliance with relevant external accreditation and certification; monitoring and reporting on compliance issues; and highlighting improvement initiatives.

 

About you

 

We are looking for a person with strong communication and collaboration skills with an eye for detail. Some one who is motivated to use theri problem-solving skills to help us shape transport infrastructure that will enhance our communities and have a lasting impact for generations to come.

 

You will have appropriate tertiary qualifications or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of quality systems. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate experience in providing effective business and/or technical support services, preferably in an engineering environment.

Salary and Benefits

 

Transport Service Grade 5 ($85,103 – $93,616) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
