We are currently looking to recruit the Quality Manager, who will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of Edvance Integrated Management System (IMS) within the Edvance organisation. You will also be required to promote and reinforce a strong quality culture of continuous improvement, driving to achieve the quality objective of “Right First Time”.

As part of the Responsible Designer for the Hinkley Point C EPR project, Edvance provides the design for the Nuclear Island (NI). Edvance UK is responsible for delivering the design for a number of NI buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project through an integrated team, providing support to HPC construction and commissioning activities, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project.

What you’ll be doing….

•    Leading the monitoring and improvement of Quality Management systems within Edvance UK 
•    Monitoring of Design Non-Conformities and driving to achieve “Right First Time” 
•    Management of the non-conformance process for all Edvance UK activities
•    Leading the production and delivery of a Project Quality Plan that provides governance and assurance to HPC Project
•    Leading the implementation of Edvance IMS in Edvance UK, building strong links with Quality Team in Paris to drive improvement
•    Ownership and delivery of all quality related training
•    Implement, promote and reinforce a strong continuous improvement culture within Edvance 
•    Leading internal audits, self-assessments and providing support to external audits and internal control programmes
•    Contribute to overall Edvance activities in relation to quality (e.g. Process Reviews, Management Reviews)
 

Who you are…

 

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

•    Degree Level or equivalent in a relevant subject
•    Good knowledge of nuclear industry and quality standards (ISO, IAEA, WANO) 
•    Ability to set, achieve and maintain high standards of quality 
•    Knowledge of General Quality Assurance Specification (GQAS) & Quality Related Activities (QRA) 
•    Experience in performance of 8D method and Root Cause Analysis
•    Excellent knowledge of the Quality Management Systems of Edvance
•    Excellent communication, organisational and people engagement skills
•    Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
•    Maintains a high drive to create a strong quality culture, supporting the delivery of Edvance UK values and behaviours
•    Comfortable working as part of an MDT (multi-disciplinary team), able to balance conflicting priorities
•    Enjoys being inclusive while working in a multicultural environment
•    Positive, calm and can-do attitude. Able to find pragmatic resolutions to multiple and often conflicting requests for resource and technical expertise, when under considerable time and delivery pressure

 

Desirable

•    Qualified internal auditor and performance of quality audits
•    Experience with training in quality management topics
•    Experience in a construction industry
