NZ Agritrade Limited manufactures, sells and distributes key products including The Time Capsule, Vetmed, Active+, Centramax, plus has a wide range of other products available - all aimed at improving farm and grower production management around agronomy, animal nutrition, land development and crop/orchard inputs.

About the role:

This is an 18 month fixed term full time role based in our Christchurch office. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide support to our Agritrade and Aquaspec supporting our supply chain processes. The successful applicant will have strong administration and office management skills, previous purchasing or procurement experience would be advantageous, however this role would also be a great opportunity for a candidate coming in at an entry level.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Raise orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Coordinate supplier returns through to completion
• Complete assigned reporting to schedule
• Support updating costing / pricing process in JDE [Cost Books, Specials]
• Support the resolution of Expiry and QA/QC issues with Category and Product managers
• Support processes in Inventory control and Purchasing Management

Skills & Experience

• Experience in purchasing or procurement advantageous but not essential
• A great customer service ethic along with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• An advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite especially excel
• The ability to manage and prioritise deadlines.
• JDE knowledge or previous experience an advantage.
