Description

We are looking for a highly-skilled and motivated Buyer for a large growing organization in the Richmond area. You would be responsible for day to day tasks which would include issuing Purchase Orders, reviewing Material Requirements and ensuring material orders arrive on time. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of vast team and support daily operations. This Buyer role is a long-term contract opportunity and is located in the Richmond, British Columbia area.

 Responsibilities:

• Issuing purchase orders and expediting shipment as required
• Analyzing reports, reviews quantity and delivery requirements for each item
• Completing administrative tasks related to material purchasing, files purchase orders, processes import/export and other shipping documentations
• Working with Logistics team to make and track freight arrangements
• Resolve price discrepancies, review invoices accurately in a timely manner
