Purchasing and Inventory Procurement Analyst

We’re looking for an analytical, fact-checking professional who is confident in supplier negotiations, and who wants to help us expand our fast-growing business. This position will be reporting to the Lynwood branch, located at 5804-204th Street SW.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate suppliers based on cost, selection, service, distribution capabilities and availability
• Negotiate and renegotiate contracts with suppliers including new deals and expiring contracts
• Create and send purchase orders for products and supplies; monitor the progress of all shipments and address any problems; review open and outstanding purchase orders
• Monitor branch inventory level and correct stock is being maintained
• Evaluate supplier performance – be well versed on the supplier’s level of performance
• Set new prices, review existing prices and create profitability reports
• Collaborate with management and the sales team to determine prices for new products
• Gather cost information for the new products in order to calculate profitability
