About the role:

The Infant, Child, Youth & Family (ICYF) Mental Health team operate from Bloomfield Hospital, Orange. This consists of multidisciplinary teams working with young people up to age 18 with mental health challenges that are having a significant impact on their daily life. ICYF consists of services ranging from early intervention through to acute services. The Team partners with a range of health Services and other agencies who may include Department of Education, NSW Department of Communities & Justice, Headspace and other Government and non-Government agencies across the area.

The role of the ICYF Psychologist will be the professional and independent application of evidenced-based psychological treatment techniques and assessment procedures to a range of behavioural, emotional, addiction, psychological and health problems. The Psychologist will work collaboratively in order to support client centred recovery whilst enhancing teamwork within the ICYF team.

This is a targeted position in accordance with GSE Rule 26: Employment of eligible persons.
