Job Description:-

 Design and develop an implementation plan for the program intervention in the livestock sector.- Provide veterinary and livestock extension services through the veterinarian extension staff to supervise groups of community workers in the field.- Provides technical assistance in the veterinary and livestock extension field for the members of community development councils.- Design a training plan and arrange and conduct training for different CBOs' members in the veterinary and livestock extension activities.- Making the reports for the project manager, agriculture and livestock coordinator, and government officials.- Participates in the technical survey of projects.- Monitors of the project's progress and contribute to project quality improvement.- Providing training Modules for formers and cooperative training.- Providing training materials for the training of formers.- Conduct TOT training for Community Trainers.- Provide technical services for formers concerning pre-harvest and post-harvest practices and value chains.- Support, train, and monitor CT.- Maintain productive cooperation with all ACTED teams.- Following all ACTED rules and regulations.- Performs other duties as assigned by the project management.

Job Requirements:

- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary / Livestock or related field.- At least 3 years of experience in the lead positions in development or Veterinary & Livestock projects.- Demonstrated ability to work with local authorities and government agencies, local governance structures, cooperatives, and female farmers.- Knowledge of line agencies' mandates and key policies- Knowledge of the target area's culture, traditions, and sensitiveness- Experience working with and coordinating with I/NGOs and other stakeholders- Ability to regularly travel to the project sites for doing fieldwork.- Demonstrated budget management skills.- Good critical thinking skills.- Excellent Dari, Pashto, and English language skills.- Proficiency in the use of computer office applications and email.- Strong leadership skills.- Strong interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills- Enthusiasm and commitment to improve others' livelihoods opportunities, and engage with rural communities, including women- Ability to write clear, accurate, and brief monthly, quarterly and final project reports, and compile associated data
