About this role

To deliver meaningful solutions that enrich customers lives, the EE brand needs to stretch into new areas and focus on the convergence of networks, devices and new services beyond connectivity.   This role is vital to that vision as it is responsible for shaping the marketing plan that bring to life devices beyond Mobile – from Tablets, Watches and Laptops today to TVs, Games Consoles and Smart devices tomorrow.  

You will be responsible for developing and delivering the propositions that allow customers to experience these devices at their very best – including everything from delivery, content, connectivity, in-life management and service.  You will help give customers access to these experiences when they want it, for as long as they want it, leveraging EE’s wider account ecosystem and unique role as a lifecycle manager to power the growth of a P&L worth £1bn in incremental revenue within 5 years.  

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Provides sound technical expertise to support the development of a proposition by working through each proposition component, gathering market and customer insight, modelling the commercial impact, and making recommendations with guidance
  • Works across the team to creatively design and maintain a portfolio of propositions, and go-to-market planning and pricing, within a specific product area to deliver key performance metrics.
  • Identifies opportunities for targeted proposition and pricing strategies, with the end goal of maintaining and generating existing and new customers, and coordinates the design and delivery.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of proposition and pricing planning and detailed understanding of product range, target market and customers.
  • Partners with other functions/areas to lead negotiation of deals with third parties for interconnection or access to network or customers.
  • May manage a team to design and deliver propositions and achieve customer focused metrics

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • Propositions experience or knowledge 
  • Commercial accumen
  • Customer insight - You build and apply deep knowledge of our customers, their context and preferences. You analyse and evaluate data to identify and maximise sales opportunities and generate recommendations.
  • Give specialised advice - You offer expert advice and recommendations in your areas of subject expertise.
  • Product and service knowledge - You demonstrate subject matter expertise in complex, technical infrastructure, products and services. You develop bespoke solutions to meet short, medium and long-term customer needs.
  • Made decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information or differing opinions
  • Able to contribute to strategy setting, aligning project plans and objectives with organisational values
  • Able to collaborate and influence stakeholders from other business areas
