A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You’ll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC’s brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace.

Our Proposals Development team supports PwC’s consulting teams in marketing and sales proposals. You’ll support the writing and editing process for proposals, thought leadership initiatives, sector specific leadership agendas and other marketing initiatives.

Purpose-led work you’ll be part of

As a Proposal Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the complexity of a large number of proposals, with a focus on project management and quality assurance, managing the proposal process from planning kick-off meetings to submitting final deliverables

  • Develop proposal management plans and monitor overall progress

  • Ensure compliance with RFP mandatory requirements

  • Facilitate or help coordinate kick-off, solutioning and win themes sessions

  • Help edit or write compelling value propositions and assist client service teams to articulate clear competitive differentiation

  • Drive adoption of the firm’s standard sales and business development methodology

  • Continuously grow internal firm relationships to expand your network and understanding of the firm’s capabilities

Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve

  • An interest in technology trends and upskilling for a digital world, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work

  • Experience in proposal management and new business pursuits, including experience in a consulting and/or professional services environment 

  • Experience in an accounting or financial environment preferred – in particular, experience dealing with Assurance, Tax and Consulting RFPs preferred

  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities, and stay focused in a dynamic, ever-changing environment

  • Adaptability and the ability to handle ambiguity
