The opportunity 

We have an exciting new opportunity Project Planner, temporary full time role upto 30th June 2024. The role is responsible to develop and maintain schedules for a portfolio of projects/programs to monitor key activities and assess impacts to achievement of key milestones for full lifecycle of projects/programs and to drive workforce planning. 

Your role will include:

  • Develop project/program schedules by working closely with diverse disciplines and project/program teams to deliver accurate and complete schedules without compromising project/program interdependencies.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with project team to implement best scheduling practices for portfolio of programs/projects.
  • Engage with Project Managers to review impacts, test scenarios and develop solutions for scheduling demands
  • Conduct risk and issue workshops and manage control activities around schedule and mitigation strategies to manage slippage. Compile and maintain portfolio level RAID registers
  • Monitor progress and resource requirements across all projects and programs, to identify and report expected resource demand and availability to plan for recruitment or resource redeployment.
  • Monitor progress and resource requirements against an agreed baseline plan for each project and program, to assess and report level of confidence in achieving key milestones.
  • Provide support in development of master integrated schedule for portfolio of programs/projects in order to monitor key activities and milestones.

About you 

To be successful in the role 

  • Tertiary qualifications in project management and/or a relevant discipline, and/or equivalent recent project scheduling experience
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing and maintaining development and delivery phase schedules across a range of technology projects/programs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Primavera P6, project management and control systems, principles and practices
