The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to join the Customer and Product team working on Metro West. Working with the Senior Managers of the team, this role will support implementation of customer and product outcomes in the delivery of Metro West ensuring the customer is at the centre of planning and decisions. The role will work closely with numerous functional teams and technical experts within Sydney Metro to develop and coordinate project related information to support decision-making for the efficient and on-time delivery of Metro West.

Key accountabilities:
Live the NSW Public Sector and organisational values to achieve outstanding outcomes for the organisation and customers.
Manage and oversee all aspects of project planning, development and implementation for a range of projects, including developing project plans, coordinating resources, managing budgets, meeting reporting requirements, and supporting project-related activities.
Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to engage stakeholders.
Monitor and evaluate all aspects of project implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, project impact and quality measures, to identify and address issues, assess project progress and effectiveness, and achieve project outcomes.
Work with Senior Managers and project team/s, ensuring compliance with governance and quality requirements to successfully deliver all key project/s milestones and outcomes.
Undertake research and formulate recommendations to support evidence-based project planning and decision-making.
Provide advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and to support project development and delivery in line with established plans, budgets, timeframes, policy objectives and other project and priorities.
About you
Tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and/or equivalent experience in supporting complex/large-scale projects.
Proven experience in delivering outcomes within timeframes and relationship management skills in complex work situations.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Grade 7A ($106,086) – Grade 7E ($118,816) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
