The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer - Knowledge Management to join the team. The role will be responsible to provide support and maintain the day-to-day operations of Sydney Metro’s Knowledge management systems and undertake various tasks to assist with the implementation of strategic projects. The role assists in any aspect of the knowledge management team, including developing, implementing and/or evaluating initiatives to ensure that they support organisational and project objectives, government policy and legislative requirements. The role will support knowledge management activities across the business as a path towards excellence in program/project delivery.
The successful applicant will also be involved in the following:
Maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) and other knowledge management tools, responding to user requests, uploading documents and providing support to maintain compliance and ensure key organizational knowledge is accessible
Undertake data analysis using qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods to identify knowledge management best practice and inform decision making
Assist in the review and coordination of communication and engagement material, capability and development programs; and support development of workshops, along with other initiatives to support program requirements.
Support the development and implementation of the Knowledge Management Framework across the organisation to enable increased organisational efficiency and performance
Develop and maintain performance indicators and track metrics for knowledge systems, content and newly introduced programs to monitor knowledge management programs and activities
Support stakeholder engagement activities of the team with inter-department, government, industry and innovation experts, including participating in key meetings or working groups to contribute to knowledge management best practice for the organisation

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a knowledge management environment. You will have analytical skills that you can use to support the team. A background in a project support environment will be highly regarded. You will be a flexible team player who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will possess excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills along with great time management and coordination skills.
Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience
Salary and benefits
