About the team
The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering an ambitious and once-in-a generation $28 billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come.
The opportunity
To support upcoming infrustructure projects, our Rail Delivery branch currently has numerous Project Officer positions available. These roles will be responsible for various project management activities to ensure projects are developed and delivered in line with established objectives. These roles will be based across different locations in NSW and may be either permanent or fixed-term, depending on project requirements.

Key accountabilities:
Provide project management and support services, including reporting, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, implementing project plans, ensuring project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within scope.
Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinating working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans.
Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning.
About you
Tertiary qualification in related field and/or strong project management experience (preferably within construction, engineering and/or public sector).
Competency in report preperation and providing recommendations to reported outcomes and key stakeholders.
Demonstrated abilities to source, analyse and interpret contracts and construction-related information and documentation.
Strong knowledge and understanding of best-practice record keeping and document management.
Salary and benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 7A ($106,086) – Grade 7E ($118,816) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
