Project Officer

• Based at Royal Melbourne Hospital, Parkville
• Support projects related to RMH Master Planning & redevelopment
• Full Time Fixed Term

An exciting opportunity exists for a full time fixed-term secondment to be involved in the RMH redevelopment projects and strategic clinical service planning. The successful applicant will work closely with the Director of Clinical Service Planning, the Director of Capital Works and the RMH Redevelopment team. The key projects they will be involved in include;

• Strategic planning of clinical services across the organisation
• Master planning and RMH Arden and Parkville redevelopment Project
• Space management across the organisation including the planning and management of department relocations
• Other relevant capital works projects

Your new role:

• Provide support to the Director of Clinical Service Planning and the RMH Arden and Parkville redevelopment team
• Manage the RMH Space requests in liaison with the Director of Clinical Service Planning and Director of Capital works
• Project manage clinical service relocations including stakeholder engagement to aid in the coordination of capital projects
• Contribute to Clinical Service strategic planning
• Create and maintain appropriate databases as required to aid in clinical service planning
• Prepare papers and presentation as requested by the Director of Clinical Service Planning
• Support the Clinical Service Planning department with space audits
• Provide administrative support when required

About you:

The successful applicate will ideally have a clinical background or experience with clinical services and will have some experience in project management, with highly developed communication and organisation skills.
