About us

Transport for NSW keeps our State moving by providing safe, integrated and efficient transport systems. We put our customers at the centre of everything we do – and we do a lot. We connect people, communities and industry and manage how they use our road, rail and maritime networks and services, and even active modes like walking and cycling. The work we do connects the journeys you take every day.

We are a state government organisation made up of more than 28,000 people and we're in the middle of delivering the largest transport infrastructure program in Australia's history. We work across planning, policy and procurement, harnessing data and technology to develop smarter and more adaptive transport solutions.

That means job opportunities in metropolitan and regional areas right across NSW – you have the chance to be part of creating a lasting legacy that will benefit generations to come.

This role will assist in establishing and implementing streamlined procedures to ensure program management is delivered in a coordinated, cohesive, cost effective and timely manner.

Some key responsibilities of the role include:

Coordinate the implementation of program management systems and processes for large projects, including maintaining program establishment, governance and reporting systems and processes.

Provide a range of program management and support services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining documentation and implementing and monitoring plans, to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards.

Support stakeholder management processes, including preparing workshops, and provide support to stakeholders and engage with, influence and build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Oversee, and monitor the delivery of sub-programs, ensuring completion in accordance with relevant guidelines, quality, and deadlines, at or below budget

Maintain accurate and complete records of work activities, in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.

Undertake secretariat role for the project workgroups and coordinate papers, related actions and follow up activity to ensure that milestones are achieved.
