About the team
The Infrastructure and Place division is in the process of delivering once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.
Rolling Stock Delivery is providing new trains for a more comfortable, reliable, efficient and accessible journey. We're responsible for delivering new rolling stock to support the growing demand for services and to replace aged sets with a modern, state-of-the-art fleet.
We are delivering a new, state-of-the-art fleet of intercity trains, called the Mariyung, that will provide a new level of comfort and convenience for the thousands of customers who travel between Sydney and the Central Coast and Newcastle, the Blue Mountains, and the South Coast.
The opportunity
The primary purpose of the role is to oversee and ensure the delivery and management of large scale complex multiple projects within a program of work within clearly defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints Manage the implementation of the project plan to meet scope, time, cost, quality and safety requirements.
Determine and implement the project schedule and activities throughout the project life-cycle (including concept design, planning, planning approval, detailed design, tender, construction, commissioning and handover).
Develop detailed project budget and forecast cash flows/milestones from approved budget, including reviewing and recommending for approval for project costs and variations, monitoring and controlling project costs and reporting on expenditure and addressing any slippage issues.
Manage relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders for successful project outcomes

About you
Tertiary qualifications in a Planning, Design, Environmental, Engineering, Construction or Commercial / Business discipline or equivalent experience. Prior experience in Operations, Train paths/movement is desired.
This role is identified as a Rail Safety Worker (RSW)
