Primarily an office based role the Project Manager is responsible for efficient planning and coordination and supervision of resources, using financial and commercial acumen to monitor performance and costs over multiple projects at any one time.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following

• BE, NZCE and/or relevant electrical construction industry experience 5 years + preferred with past Project Management experience
• Current electrical registration (desirable)
• Good understanding of NZ contract legislation and standards
• Excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Good understanding of job pricing including materials, labour, plant, associated margin and profit calculations
• Preparing and submitting variations
• Forward planning and organised to eliminate job down time
• Experience of supervising subcontractors and site staff
• Client exposure in a contracting environment
• Contract close out and commissioning experience
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence
• Experience in MS office suite, word/excel essential, MS Project favourable
• Competent in understanding the Health & Safety at Work Act regulations
