- Provide project management expertise across a variety of Primary Connect Infrastructure development related projects
- As part of a wider Program team, manage the development and commissioning of our new automated distribution centres located at Moorebank NSW

The Opportunity
Working in a passionate and supportive Supply Chain team, time will be spent building relationships and creating engagement, as well as:
- Own and manage the project(s) through all phases from project mobilisation, through detailed design and construction, ramp up and transition to operations
- Manage a broad team of project, business resources as well as contractors on site installing and commissioning warehouse equipment (Racking, Automation, MHE etc.)
- Report progress, risks & issues, financials through various departmental and cross divisional forums
- Work collaboratively and closely with all stakeholders and ensure alignment on the requirements and outcomes
- Ensure appropriate governance and assurance is maintained, compliance with the Woolworths project management framework.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with hands on experience in Project Mangaement, with particular exposur and experience in working on infrastructure development and transformation projects. We requires someone who has experience within the following:
- Working knowledge of the development of large scale warehousing, distribution facilities or manufacturing facilities as well as those streams feeding into the project including DC Operations, IT Systems and Infrastructure, Transport Development, DC Design, Safety, Automation, Change Management and Transition Planning
- Good understanding of project financials, CAPEX and business case management
- Preferably supply chain/ engineering background with experience in FMCG / Food, Beverage & Retail Sector
- Ability to develop project charter, project management plans and integrated schedules using MS Project (or similar scheduling tools)
- Proven experience in design management, procurement, implementation and commissioning of plant and equipment (Preferably in warehousing environments)
- Ability to work in fast paced environments, delivering high quality outputs with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively as part of diverse teams
- Demonstrated effective negotiation and influencing skills with stakeholders
