Join EDF as a Project Manager, and you’ll join one of the most exciting and challenging projects within EDF, as we continue to lead the rebirth of nuclear in the UK.
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
HPC’s delivery will be reliant not only on innovative engineering and construction but also on the strongest of Leadership qualities amongst its Project and Senior Project Managers. Your role as a Project Manager will be to provide leadership to ensure the effective implementation to site of the HPC Conventional Island Turbine Group scope of work, whilst recognising and managing the impacts of this scope of work on the wider Project.
You will have the responsibility to ensure delivery of all (or part of) the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the overall Project schedule. You will ensure planning and delivery is in accordance with all safety, quality, time and cost parameters to meet the needs of the Project.
Your focus will be on all Conventional Island pumps and heat exchangers Design/Procurement/Manufacturing, including the condenser and the main feedwater pumps, and within the Turbine Group Team, you will have a leading role in Manufacturing and Manufacturing Surveillance.
