Construction and Technical Recruitment (CTR) are working closely with a local contractor here in Auckland and they are looking to recruit a project manager and site manager for a number of new projects.

This client has a number of projects on the books, but right now they are searching for candidates with commercial or school construction experience to lead and manage new projects in Auckland. If you have Education and commercial construction knowledge and you have worked on similar type projects, this could be your chance to put your project management skills to the test or a chance to take that next step up.

Potential candidates for this role need to have a solid construction background and they are looking for either tier 3 / tier 2 contractor knowledge. This experience ideally should be local; however we are very keen to speak with overseas applicants who have some NZ background, as talent is very much in short supply.

To be a success in your new role you will need to be -

• Comfortable working under pressure
• Related qualifications
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Determined to get a project done on time and in budget
• Stakeholder management experience
• Excellent planning/programming skills
• Commercially aware
