About the Team
Major Works is the major brownfield construction hub at Sydney Trains. Providing Engineering and Maintenance work across the Sydney Trains Network, there are over 1000 staff in the directorate which operates in a fast paced multi-disciplinary project environment.
The opportunity
Are you experienced in using technology within a project delivery environment? We are looking for a Project Manager with a keen interest in Virtual Site Inspections and 3D modelling to map out new business processes that will assist our Major Works team in the smooth running of a range of projects based along the rail corridor.
Bring your balance of technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to working collaboratively with our close-knit team. You’re able to establish relationships and will enjoy communicating with your key stakeholders on a regular basis to ensure new technology processes are embedded within the team.
You will also be responsible for:
Initiating new projects and workstreams where required and managing projects to ensure timeframes and deliverables are achieved to scope and budget.
Develop and control project schedules and planning activities to ensure modules are completed according to established project milestones.

About you
To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following:
Proven experience in project and stakeholder management.
Experience in end-to-end solution delivery, including business change.
Relevant tertiary level qualifications or demonstrated equivalent practical experience.
