My client is a large global organisation currently undertaking a significant trans-Tasman multi-site programme of work, that represents a significant change in direction and a major milestone in their history. This represents their shift to meeting and embracing sustainability and technology and supporting customers that are conscious of the environment.
As part of this Programme of work they are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer to act as liaison between the client and the contractors, manage the Programme of work, ensuring time frames are met, costs are managed, and issues are managed in an agile and efficient manner.
As this is a new stream of work, the role is initially on a 12-month contract, with an excellent possibility of being extended or being embedded as a permanent role. As the role is trans-Tasman there will be an ad-hoc need to travel to Australia as a key resource on the Programme of work, whilst this is not excessive is to be expected.
To be considered for this role, you will have previous Programme management experience, be confident in managing contractors and key stakeholders. You will have a strong background, Ideally in Electrical Engineering, however the overarching experience will to be around multi-site installation management.
